The Purcell Singers return to a beautiful candlelit St Martin-in-the-Fields for the second time this year for a feast of Brahms.
His magnificent Ein Deutsches Requiem was first performed in London in 1871, a special adaptation by the composer for piano duet. This arrangement became known as the 'London Version'. Our pianists will be the fantastic longfordbrown piano duo, Lindy Tennent-Brown and James Longford.
They join us also for the Liebeslieder Walzer - a series of love songs written especially for choir and piano duet.
Our soloists will be the marvellous Mary Nelson (soprano) and George Humphreys (baritone).
Tickets are available from the St Martin's box office: Book online or call 020 7766 1100.
