We are delighted to announce a new round of auditions, which will be held on Thursday 25 April 2024 at our rehearsal venue in Southwark.

Award-winning vocal ensemble
Formed in 1994 by organist and conductor Mark Ford, The Purcell Singers are an award-winning chamber choir, who excel in live performance and studio recording.
The choir draws on talented and experienced singers to perform a varied repertoire of both well-loved and lesser known works, and also recording commercial works, particularly for the film industry.
We perform extensively around the capital, across the UK and internationally. Our President is Sarah Walker CBE.
Recordings
The Purcell Singers are as at home in the recording studio as the concert hall.
In February 2019 the choir recorded a number of favourite pieces for a new album in celebration of our 25th anniversary year.
Our amazing eight minute showreel showcases a selection of themes recorded by The Purcell Singers for use in the movie industry.

One of London’s leading chamber choirs, The Purcell Singers was formed in 1994 by conductor and organist Mark Ford. The choir is active on the London music scene and also participates in commercial and classical recordings.
The choir has been awarded ‘Best Classical Performance’ at the Brighton Festival.
